- BOOKENDS, AGATE:
- Two pieces of agate are cut from the same boulder, matching perfectly. Our bookends are cleaned and cork disks are placed on the bottom of each half so that tables and shelves are protected.
- Extra Bookends are also referred to as “geode bookends” because there is
a crystal cavity on the front face of the bookend. There are no fractures
on the front face of the pair. See grade “A” for more description. Drums of this quality are usually selected in Brazil for customers on special order.

-
“A” Bookend has no fractures on the front face and is cut straight. Usually this grade has great pattern, color, or contrast. The polish is like a mirror-finish.
- B” Bookend has some natural fractures and minor flaws on the front face. Ordinarily we only buy “B” bookends by special customer order while we are in Brazil.
