- The Story of Citrine:
- Amethyst druzes are heated in an oven changing the color to a light to dark amber.
Citrine druzes do not occur naturally.
Citrine like amethyst is also in the quartz family of minerals. The druzes are from Brazil.
- Pricing of Citrine:
- The price depends on the weight of the citrine druze. As you can see in the picture, the colors vary from light amber to dark topaz. The brilliance of the crystals is great. Some of the pieces have a custom made wooden stand. Brightness of the citrine is often a problem with heat treated material. However, we have selected only those pieces that reflect light beautifully.
