BARBERA COMPANY BULK SALES

(Most of the bulk items are ordered and packaged in Brazil. See “bargain section” for items already in stock sold by the drum)
Some items can be sold in large quantities. Amethyst druzes, bookends, agate geodes, agate slabs, and amethyst cathedrals and cones can be packaged in 55-gallon drums or 25-gallon drums.
A drum of amethyst druzes usually weighs 180 Kilos or 396 pounds. Drums of amethyst cathedrals and geodes will weigh at least 250-300 pounds.
We know what is in the barrels we sell by the drum because we select everything that comes to our warehouse. If a customer wants a drum of size #3 bookends in 4 colors, that’s what they will receive. If the customer wants amethyst druzes 2” x 3”, they will receive an entire drum with pieces that size.
Many of our customers have bought items from our competitors and have been very disappointed. In some cases, barrels were filled with sub-standard goods with only the top revealing better goods. As a result, sales lag and prevent investing in a more appealing inventory. Our prices are higher than our competitors for goods sold by the drum. That is because the goods at the top of the barrel are the same as merchandise at the bottom. We also personally select and have an agent inspect the goods before they are packed.
These are the usual items sold in bulk. There are many other items such as tumbled stones and rough rock that can be sold by the drum. Please ask for a price quote and availability.

		Amethyst Druzes: Amethyst is medium to light in color, medium matrix, and fairly brilliant crystals.

		Amethyst Cathedrals, Geodes and Cones: Orders may be placed for these items to be selected and packaged in Brazil. Specific quality, shapes, sizes can be selected to meet your needs. Prices will be discussed at the time of ordering.

		Citrine Druzes, Cathedrals : The supply of this item definitely varies from year to year in Brazil. We can take an order, but the price and quantities available will have to be quoted from Brazil.

		Agate Slabs: We have “B” and “B/C” slabs by the drum. The price is for slabs that have imperfections such as natural cracks, some chips, and less colorful patterns. They are natural, not dyed unless indicated. The drum has all different sizes of slabs from size #2 to #8. Sometimes slabs that are smaller than #2 and larger than #8 will be included. If you order a drum of “B” or “B/C” slabs of a certain size, the price will be higher. The price will be indicated when the order is placed. Larger quantities of agate slabs in sizes “0”, “00” and “1” are priced by the piece. There are usually at least 3000-4500 slabs in a 55-gallon drum when ordering this size slab. We would have to quote you a price at the time of ordering. To maintain quality control, we usually don't sell agate geodes by the drum except with the following:

		Ocos Singles: Price varies with this product so the price to be determined during ordering.

		Agate Geode halves “B”: Sizes and price vary with this Item. The geodes are natural, without crystal cavities, and usually bland in coloring.

		Agate Geode halves with cut base “B”: Same as above.

		Agate stone ends “B”: Sizes and price vary with this item, therefore price and availability would be determined at time of ordering.

		Rough Rock: Rough rock can be ordered in Brazil, such as Aventurine, Orange Calcite, Sodalite, Fuchsite, and many more. We can give you prices when ordering.

		Tumbled Stones: Tumbled stones can be ordered in Brazil. THESE ARE ITEMS WE HAVE IN STOCK, FOB ALAMEDA, CA.

		Chinese River Rock: Tumbled and polished. 100 lb. lots 55-gallon drum approx. 300-400 lbs.

		Large Tumbled Stone Mix “B”: Size of stones 7/8”-1 1/4”. 25 lb. lots 50 lb. lots 100 lb. lots

		Extra Large Tumbled Stone Mix “B” : Size of stones 1.25”-1.75”. 25 lb. lots. 50 lb. lots 100 lb. lots 55 gal. drum

We have stock of this material in these stones. These stones have been separated from the Extra Large Tumbled Stone Mix "B". Price varies according to the stone.

TOURIST MIX:
: Minimum order 100 lbs. This mix can vary from time to time depending on what is on hand, but it will always be colorful and interesting. Our mix continues to maintain color and brilliance even after your customers have selected a majority of the mix. This mix may possibly contain the following:

PYRITE, AMAZONITE, ROSE QUARTZ AMETHYST, AGATE, TIGER EYE, QUARTZ, JASPERS, MICA, HOWLITE, CALCITES, PETRIFIED WOOD, and AVENTURINE.

We know each retailer has concerns, especially about selling space. We suggest a wood planter to suit your space that can be purchased at your local nursery or hardware store. Add a scoop and small paper bags and you have instant moneymaker. One hundred pounds of TOURIST MIX fits in about 1.25 cubic foot of space.

		PANNING MIX: This mix is for museums and shops that have “panning for gold” as a moneymaker. Of course the customer finds all sorts of other rocks in their search for the “gold”. The panning mix usually contains: pyrite, amethyst, petrified wood, rose quartz, mica, and other minerals.
